Seven Day Grace Period Scrapped By HMRC
The seven day grace period for filing tax returns, traditionally allowed by HM Revenue and Customs (“HMRC”), is to be scrapped they have announced. From March 31 2011, all company tax returns and employers end of year returns must be filed by the due date, affecting many contractors who run their own limited company’s.
